Stunning statement Kumihimo necklace with a hand-sawn and shaped Dogwood Flower clasp. Length: 19"

The two layers of the dogwood flower were sawn, shaped by hand, given a light texture, with sterling casting grain soldered in the center. The back of the flower has an L-shape connection for a handmade clasp with locking safety catch.

Kumihimo is a Japanese braiding technique, using eight strands of beads. The beads used in this necklace are glass, with a beautiful matte metallic finish in varying shades of gold, and rosy hues.
