Sterling Silver and 22k Gold Keum Boo Earrings  made from Precious Metal Clay (PMC), with 22k Gold foil permanently bonded using an ancient Korean technique called Keum Boo. The texture is created using an original texture plate of Phoenician lettering. 

1” H x 3/4” wide, slightly curved, with Sterling Silver lever back ear wires. 

The 22k gold is applied using an ancient Korean technique called Keum Boo: the silver piece is placed on a small beehive kiln and heated to approximately 800°F. Gold leaf is laid on the surface and burnished as the heat bonds the gold and silver on a molecular level – creating a rich surface.
