I am a strong believer in the Japanese aesthetic of Wabi Sabi – which is sometimes described as one of appreciating beauty that is “imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete” in nature.

Working in steel, whether sheet, perforated, or woven mesh, allows me to create contemporary jewelry with a Wabi Sabi feel.

Every steel piece has a history — from the relationship with the maker, to the life of the wearer.
