I will be taking off for two weeks to attend a workshop at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, and I am so excited.
This workshop has nothing to do with jewelry – it’s a clay workshop with a marvelous clay artist, Ayumie Horie. I expect to have a lot of fun, to stay up late in the studio, get a little sleep, then be in the studio early, and working and playing in clay all day for two weeks.
Although it seems unrelated, I have taken some clay classes in the past, and… remember? I already work with Clay in the form of PMC [Precious Metal Clay]!

I am off to Vermont for a 5-day workshop in PMC with one of my favorite PMC artists, Celie Fago. I look forward to learning some great new techniques [designing and making my own relief stamps using polymer clay, working with sterling silver PMC, and making hinged boxes!]
